Stephen Sondheim is ninety-one years old, but he’s still one of the most important people in American music theatre. So many shows, so many great songs, and so much influence on the way Broadway shows have changed since the 1950’s, when he started out. In the Winters School of Music’s production, Side by Side by Sondheim, the audience will hear a variety of Sondheim’s most beloved music. The show will take place in the President’s Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Tatum Court building. Prepare for a lovely evening of beautiful music and, to quote Stephen himself, “tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight”!
